Zoraya Judd, an Aerial Pole Dancer for Zen Arts

Posted by on Nov 12, 2011 in Artist, Event, News | 1 comment

Zoraya Judd, is a completely breathtakingly beautiful, exotic and award-winning pole dancer, yet somehow completely humble and calm when you speak with her. Hailing from Utah, this half Argentinean and half Swedish aerial pole dancer will astonish you guaranteed.  I have never seen such body control and strength and grace all together simultaneously.  Kelley Koski, a burlesque dancer for Zen Arts and a friend, and I both agree that she is amazing and we will definitely be taking a aerial pole dance class with Zoraya Judd when she moves to Los Angeles in the coming months.  I highly suggest you join us.

The footage in the video below is her aerial pole performance with Zen Arts at DoLab‘s SupperClub Los Angeles Limelight Thurzdaze Halloween Edition.

Zoraya is a mother, a fitness model, and pole fitness instructor.  She has won the titles, USPDF West Coast Regional Competition – PRO DIVISION – FINALIST 2011, Miss Pole Fetish Utah 2009 CHAMPION, World Pole Dance Championships – BEST ENTERTAINER 2011, and Aerial Pole International Championships – BEST TRICKS 2011.

An-ten-nae and DJ Laura of LowRIDERz, at DoLab’s SupperClub LA Limelight Thurzdaze Halloween Edition

Posted by on Nov 6, 2011 in Artist, Event, News | 0 comments

An-ten-nae and DJ Laura explain what Acid Crunk is on the back patio of the SupperClub in Los Angeles’ Hollywood neighborhood before they performed live. Their new album, An-ten-nae Presents Acid Crunk Vol. 4, is now available on iTunes so you can hear it for yourself and I highly suggest buying a copy.  I have known An-ten-nae for longer than I’m allowed to tell you and can remember when he handed me his first record.  I still have it so that should tell you that his musical endeavors are worth a listen.  The album is a compilation of many artists, such as Low RIDERz, David Starfire, An-ten-ae, FreQ Nasty, Griz, and many more.

An-ten-nae and DJ Laura travel the world doing what they love and have dedicated their lives to: music.

Sexy Sax Man, Sergio Flores, and Symphonic Circles

Posted by on Nov 6, 2011 in Artist, Event, News | 0 comments

Sergio Flores, the Sexy Sax Man, has made quite an imprint on YouTube and even inspired a must-see “Saturday Night Live” skit called “The Curse”, but who knew he really is an extremely talented saxophonist in real life? Sexy Sax Man is a character he plays in his YouTube videos where he goes to random places like class rooms, The Grove, laundromats, etc, giving a sexy saxogram with the song, “Careless Whisper”.  His videos are absolutely hilarious and LA HOT Magazine might have to have to team up with Sergio to create some collaborations very soon so stay tuned.

When the sweetheart, Sergio Flores, is not his alter ego, Sexy Sax Man, he can be found performing with the experimental downtempo acid jazz band, Push Play, or with his own classic jazz band, Symphonic Circles.  LA HOT Magazine caught him for an interview right before he went on stage with Symphonic Circles for Abdi Manavi’s birthday party at the SupperClub in Los Angeles.

Abdi’s Birthday Party at the supperclub LA with Zen Arts, Symphonic Circles

Posted by on Nov 6, 2011 in Artist, Event, News | 0 comments

LA HOT Magazine had the pleasure of spending time with the very special character, Abdi Manavi, the cuddly co-owner of the supperclub Los Angeles, before his birthday bash October 27th, 2011.  Every Wednesday through Saturday night at the supperclub is a guaranteed good time with four course gourmet dinners in bed prepared by their chef, Guus Wickenhagen, breathtaking avant garde cirque performances and bottle service brought to your bed by an aerialist in pasties coming out of the ceiling.

The supperclub teamed up with The Do Lab for this particular Halloween birthday version of Limelight Thurzdaze to bring talent from all over.  The night began with performances by contortionist, Viktoria Grimmy, and hoards of sexy fire dancers including (Heather Morales, Chrissy Cox, Veronika Goodnight aka Kit) all from the top cirque entertainment company traveling the globe, Zen Arts near the bar before dinner seating. The Sexy Sax Man performed some sexy smooth jazz with his band Symphonic Circles while guests were seated at their beds for dinner and show. Then the lucky guests this evening had the pleasure of an hour and a half of Zen Arts show. Zen Arts provided burlesque dancers (Valeree Pohl, Kelley Koski, Dani McCune), snake dancers (Karina Snakedancer), pole dancers (Zoraya Judd), aerialists (Sita Acevedo, Karina Snakedancer, Viktoria GrimmyRachel Bowman, Lexi Pearl), contortionists (Karina Snakedancer, Viktoria Grimmy), vaudeville (Ross Steeves, Paul SuperTall Newman), comedy (Ross Steeves, Paul SuperTall Newman), fire dancers (Heather Morales, Chrissy Cox, Veronika Goodnight aka Kit, Maki Shanti), hoola hoop dancers (Veronika Goodnight aka Kit), capoeira dancers (Alfred Kendrick, Phillipos Haile)

After dinner, the DJ lineup was worth staying and boogying off dinner with Temple Monkey, DJ Pumpkin, and An-ten-nae and DJ Laura performing as the LowRIDERz.

During the whole evening there were live artists collaborating to create something beautiful with the energy in the club: John Park and Ashley Bowers.  Also, the host and comedian Scotty, the Blue Bunny, was prancing around making the guests laugh.

But don’t just believe my words, check out the video below and the blogs/vlogs about Zen Arts, Sita Acevedo, Viktoria Grimmy, Heather Morales, Chrissy Cox, Maki Shanti, Rachel Bowman, Lexi Pearl, Veronika Goodnight aka Kit, Valeree Pohl, Kelley Koski, Dani McCune, Karina Snakedancer, Zoraya Judd, Alfred Kendrick, Ross Steeves, Paul SuperTall Newman, The Do Labthe Sexy Sax Man, the Symphonic Circles, An-ten-nae, DJ Laura, LowRIDERz, Scotty the Blue Bunny, John Park and Ashley Bowers.
