Lululemon Robertson Store Grand Opening ‘Create Connect Community’ Party

When Rock & Republic moved from this spot I might have actually shed tears but if any store could put the smile back on my face, it’s Lululemon.  The Rock & Republic sign became a Rock & Peace sign a few months back, but the grand opening of their Robertson store at 103 South Robertson Blvd. in Los Angeles was Saturday night, November 5th, 2011.

Lululemon is the epitome of  what we believe to be LA HOT.  This company is full of friendly and knowledgeable employees that always make you smile and feel welcome.  They truly care about the community with weekly free yoga classes and jogging clubs as well as countless other events. Their products are high quality, eco-friendly, comfortable and fashionable. No wonder the theme of their party was ‘Create Connect Community’

Their new store was packed with the most fit people in town mingling, laughing, eating, drinking. shopping, dancing and creating their own headbands.  From little children to their grandparents, amateur yogis to the top yoga instructors, and casual joggers to marathon addicts, everyone was having a good time.

There was an artist painting canvases in one store window and a band complete with a horn section and DJ headed by a singer, Erika Jaye, who just happens to also work at the Beverly Hills store in the other store window.  What a voice and the sweetest smile!

All the way from Vancouver’s Lululemon LAB, Lindsay Walsh, Jenny Gagne, and Maneli Nourbakhsh set up a table for creating your very own party favor work out band as well sharing two wardrobe pieces that are not available anywhere else: the Convert pant and the Hummingbird tank.  The Convert pant is a scrumptious pair of pants with a roll up or down top, that is super versatile, comfortable and fashionable for anything from working out to date night.  The Hummingbird tank is made out of silk derived from wood pulp so it’s ultra fashionable, comfortable and guilt-free eco-conscious. You must go now and get these items because you will never have a chance to get these limited pieces after they are sold out of this store, so I highly recommend a visit today.

Sadly, I had to run off to an art show party at Smashbox Studios which you can read about in my next blog, but I had to see the final art pieces so I returned in the morning to take this quick shot.  The paintings show some of the slogans fan might recognize: “Breathe Deeply” and “Dance, Sing, Floss & Travel”.  Words to live by.
